We are delighted to share the first images from our construction site in Emilia-Romagna, where a small residential building is taking shape using around 60 m³ of our CLT panels.

In addition to the delivery, we have provided ongoing technical support on site and drawn on our experience to optimise certain geometries and enable faster and more efficient assembly.
Detailed installation plans were also provided.

The client expressed great satisfaction with both the quality of the product and the support received. Like us, they can hardly wait to start the next project together.

This marks another step towards consolidating our presence in the region.

CL-THERM combines structure and insulation in a single element. To achieve this, the slats and wood fibre insulation boards are glued together sideways to form single-layer composite panels. CL-THERM panels are designed for static use as load-bearing walls in new buildings or extensions. They can also be used as self-supporting, insulated façade elements.

The construction of buildings in timber construction is booming not only in Switzerland, but also in France and all over the world. In particular, multi-storey timber constructions are developping very positively. The demand for CLT large-format panels has increased accordingly. In order to satisfy this demand in France and  in the international export markets with domestic wood, Schilliger Holz AG has started in Volgelsheim with the production of CLT.

An edge gluing of all layers guarantees the well-known high quality standard already offered by the Swiss plant. In this way the CLT panels  are designed to meet high structural and esthetical requirements. The installation will be carried out in an existing hall in the plant on approx. 5000m2. The annual capacity in two-shift operation is designed für approximately 50 000m3 CLT.
