The beauty of wood in the service of climat
BELAJO is a monumental wooden pavilion with a diameter of 12 metres and a height of 10 metres, created by artist Michaël Feneux as a concrete example of economical, low-carbon and collaborative architecture. BELAJO aims to bring together actors of ecological change with citizens to promote innovation in the field of wood. Fourteen key players – including SCHILLIGER Bois – have joined forces in this project in the service of the climate. SCHILLIGER Bois supplied the sawn timber and supports BELAJO as a sponsor. BELAJO was built in Orléans and then transported by barge. It will be installed in the heart of Paris before going on a national tour.
